AI 3D resumed

Thursday, January 12th, 2006

Work has restarted on this project (due for it being needed for college) and I have been adding an interface to control arm movement by acturally moving your arms

I am using the PC version of the GameTrak controller which, based on talking with them, seem a solid company to deal with. I believe if they market it well, this could be a huge hit!

Well been playing on some ideas to make the experience of AI3d realistic

So far i have used and found very good:
p5 data glove
eye trek glasses
TrackIR head tracker
cybertronics montion joystick

With these you can really get to a high level of interaction. With a couple more toys on the way, i want to introduce feedback to the program. Though the program is far from done, i will be required to do some extra programming to use these toys.

These images basically show the foggy city enviroment. The game environment and transport layer (including chat) has been developed to a working standard.

Currently I am investigating Artificial Intelligence and its uses for controlling the non player controlled avatars. This will be the main focus point of the projects.

Burf.com new project

Thursday, July 21st, 2005

Well Burf.com has always had many fields of interest. First was search engine technology and through that interest, the Burf.com search engine appeared. Now while Burf.com engine and data matures, it will be working on a new project based on 3D enviroments and Artificial Intelligence.

Currently we are working on creating a 3D city enviroment that has user interaction and feedback. After some research and basic testing, we have decided to use the True vision 3D engine. Screen shots to follow soon.
